KPay - Payment Gateway

KPay developed by is an intermediate system of transmission, exchange and payment transaction processing between customer having card or bank account or e-wallet and Card Acceptance Merchant providing goods and services on Internet. KPay meets the security requirements at the highest level and is certified by National Bank of Cambodia (NBC) and banks in Cambodia.

With the aim of developing a simple and convenient payment method, reducing social costs and changing traditional shopping habits of the majority of the population, KPay will connect with many e-commerce websites of many business partners providing a variety types of goods and services.

Beside, KPay has accepted most of domestic and international payment cards with only one connection. The business management system provides detailed reports on transaction and revenue. Interpretation of transaction flow

 

 

  • Customer chooses goods and services on e-commerce websites and clicks on the "Payment" button
  • Customer will be transferred to interface of KPay gateway. Customer can select the payment method through Bank A’s account and input information on card account.
  • KPay shall send information on card account and bill payment request to Bank A’s authentication system.
  • Bank A shall authenticate the validity of customer’s information and card account balance and debit customer’s account as requested, then send notice of transaction result to KPay.
  • KPay sends notice of transaction result to e-commerce websites and displays the notice that customer’s transaction is successful. 

Online payment methods

 

  • Domestic payment card

Step 1: Customer (Card holder) purchases goods and services through e-commerce website of Card Acceptance Merchant and clicks on the button “Payment”.

Step 2: Card Acceptance Merchant sends information on purchasing order to  KPay.

Step 3: Card holder confirms information on purchasing order, selecting bank; then KPay transfers card holder to online payment website of that selected bank.

Step 4: Bank authenticates and debits card holder’s account, then sends result notice to  KPay.

Step 5:  KPay transfers payment result to Card Acceptance Merchant so that merchant can make decision whether to deliver goods and service to customer.

Step 6: Card Acceptance Merchant sends result of goods and service provision to card holder. 

 

  • International payment cards

Step 1: Customer (Card holder) purchases goods and services through e-commerce website of Card Acceptance Merchant and clicks on the button “Payment”.

Step 2: Card Acceptance Merchant sends information on purchasing order to KPay.

Step 3KPay requests card holder to provide card information and transfers it to respective International Card Organization (ICO).

Step 4: International Card Organization (ICO) sends card information to respective issuing bank.

Step 5: Issuing bank makes an authentication reply and authorizes/refuses transaction to International Card Organization (ICO).

Step 6: International Card Organization (ICO) sends issuing bank’s feedback to KPay.

Step 7KPay transfers the result to Card Acceptance Merchant to decide whether to deliver goods and services to card holder.

Step 8: Card Acceptance Merchant provides notice of goods and service provision to card holder.

Step 9KPay sends payment requests for authorized transactions to Clearing Bank.

Step 10: Clearing Bank sends payment requests for authorized transactions to respective issuing bank.

Step 11: Issuing Bank transfers money to Clearing Bank according to requested transactions.
